Gluten Free Cinnabon

I have been gluten free for over 15 years. Every time I walk by Cinnabon, I felt jealous. I wanted their cinnamon rolls. To be honest, I tried different recipes over the years and did not like them. I also tried cinnamon rolls in restaurants and they have been okay at best.


I love this box mix. I followed the mix exactly to make the cinnamon rolls. Then I topped them with homemade icing.


In my Kitchenaide mixer to make the icing, I mixed together 2 T softened butter, 2 T crisco, 1/2 t vanilla extract, 1/2 t almond extract. Them I added 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1T water. After blended, I added another 1/2 c powdered sugar and 1T water. Then mix for 2 minutes.
